Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home tech lately, and one thing that’s been on my mind is upgrading my home network. I currently have the Smartthings V2 hub, and it’s been a solid choice for my setup. However, I’m now considering adding a mesh router to enhance my coverage and reliability.
I stumbled upon two options that caught my attention: Google WiFi and the new Smartthings Mesh WiFi. Costco is offering a special deal on Google WiFi, selling four units for $300, while Samsung Smartthings WiFi is available for $275 for three units. I’ve personally tried the Samsung WiFi, but I wasn’t too impressed with its performance. This makes me wonder—why go for the new Samsung mesh when Google WiFi is a proven leader in the market, especially since I already have the V2 hub?
I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Is there any compelling reason to stick with or opt for the Samsung Smartthings WiFi over Google WiFi? I’m weighing the pros and cons, and I’d love to get some insights from the community. Whether it’s about integration with existing devices, coverage, or reliability, your experiences would be invaluable!
Looking forward to your feedback and tips. Let’s connect and explore the best options together! ![]()
