I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices lately, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey!
I recently got my hands on a couple of Govee devices, specifically the Eva wall lights, and I’ve been blown away by their versatility and sleek design.
The unboxing experience was fantastic, and setting them up was a breeze with the Govee app. I love how easy it is to create different scenes and adjust settings right from my phone. ![]()
But the real magic happened when I started integrating my Shelly devices into the mix. I’ve been using Shelly buttons for a while now, and connecting them to my Homey setup has been a game-changer.
However, I ran into a bit of a hiccup when trying to get the Shelly BLU Button1 to work with the BTHome protocol. After some research, I discovered that OpenHAB doesn’t currently support this protocol, but I’m hopeful they’ll add it soon! ![]()
One thing I’ve noticed is how seamlessly Govee and Shelly devices work together. For example, I set up my Eva wall lights to change colors based on motion detected by my Shelly motion sensor. It’s these little touches that really make my home feel smarter and more personalized. ![]()
