I also wanted to share a quick tip I discovered regarding time zones. Earlier this year, I moved from the US East Coast to the West Coast, and my Hue lights were causing quite the confusion. I realized that changing the time zone settings on the Hue Bridge itself was the key to fixing my automation issues. It’s such a small detail but made a huge difference in ensuring my routines worked seamlessly.

Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with creating custom scenes using RGB LED strips for my bookshelves. It’s been a fun DIY project, and while I’m still figuring out the best way to control each section individually, it’s been a great way to add some personality to my space.
