Hey everyone, I’ve been really excited about the new Govee Curtain Lights and their potential for creating amazing ambiance in my home. However, I’ve encountered a few hiccups along the way that I thought I’d share and maybe get some advice on.
First off, the app experience has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Initially, everything seemed smooth after the firmware update—pages loaded quickly, and controls were responsive. But lately, I’ve noticed the same lag and unresponsiveness that were present before the update. It’s frustrating because it really affects the user experience. I’ve tried restarting the app and my phone, but the issue persists. Has anyone else faced this?
On a more positive note, I’ve managed to integrate these lights with my existing smart home setup using Home Assistant. It’s been a fun challenge figuring out the best way to automate them. For instance, I set up a scene where the lights dim gradually as the sun sets, creating a cozy evening atmosphere. It’s these little successes that keep me motivated despite the occasional setbacks.
