I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation, and I must say, Govee devices have been a fantastic addition to my setup. Their RGBIC outdoor string lights, for instance, have completely transformed my backyard during the holidays. It’s amazing how a simple color change can set the mood so effectively! ![]()
Recently, I’ve been experimenting with integrating Govee devices into Node-RED, especially within Home Assistant. While I’ve had success using the Govee Node on a standalone Raspberry Pi, getting it to work seamlessly within Home Assistant has been a bit of a puzzle. I’ve tried a couple of installations, but it just doesn’t seem to stick. If anyone has a workaround or a step-by-step guide, I’d be incredibly grateful! ![]()
On another note, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the Govee H7050 sidewalk lights. Their brightness and color customization options are top-notch, and the fact that they’re weatherproof makes them perfect for outdoor use. Plus, with the current deals on Amazon, it’s a no-brainer to stock up for any future projects! ![]()
I’m also curious about others’ experiences with Govee devices. Have you found any hidden gems or unique features that you’d like to share? Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other make the most out of these fantastic devices! ![]()
