Exploring Govee H61B2 and Nest Thermostat Integration

As a homeowner who’s always on the lookout for ways to enhance my living space, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the Govee H61B2 Hall run. Since installing it in my hallway, I’ve found its sleek design and functionality to be a perfect addition to my home. The shape fits seamlessly along the cove base, and while it’s not my final resting spot for it, I’m really enjoying how it complements my decor. I’m also considering adding a Beatles picture frame to my bedroom once I figure out the best placement for it. :notes:

Another area I’ve been exploring is the integration of my Nest Thermostat with Aqara temperature sensors. My setup includes a Nest Thermostat in a relatively warm bedroom and Aqara sensors in every room. My goal is to create a zone-heating system where the Nest adjusts its target temperature based on the coldest room detected by the Aqara sensors. For example, if Bedroom 2 is below its desired temperature, I’d like the Nest to increment its target until all rooms are at their set points. When Bedroom 2 reaches its target, the Nest should revert to its original setting. I’m currently working on an automation using Homekit to achieve this, and I’d love to hear if anyone has successfully implemented a similar system!

On the topic of automation and customization, I’ve been experimenting with the Mushroom Chips Card in my Home Assistant setup. While I managed to get a basic icon animation working, I’m struggling to apply the same effect within the chip card. I tried using a selector like mushroom-conditional-chip:nth-child(2), but it didn’t work as expected. If anyone has tips or tricks for animating icons within this card, I’d be grateful for the advice!

Looking ahead, I’m excited about the possibilities Govee might bring in the future. I’ve been wondering if neon LED stripes could be on the horizon, allowing users to craft their own neon lighting setups. It would be a fantastic addition to the already impressive range of products Govee offers. If anyone has any insights or suggestions on this, I’d love to hear them!

Overall, my journey with智能家居 has been a mix of triumphs and challenges, but it’s always rewarding to see how technology can enhance our daily lives. I’m eager to continue exploring new ways to integrate and optimize my smart home setup. If anyone has tips, tricks, or experiences to share, please feel free to drop them in the comments below! :rocket:
