Exploring Govee Hexa Pro Panels and Smart Home Integration

I recently had the exciting opportunity to try out the Govee Hexa Pro H6066 panels, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations! The 3D effects and vibrant colors are absolutely stunning right out of the box. What’s even more impressive is the variety of accessories included in the package—10 panels, 9 linking cables, a power adapter, a control box, and even some extra strips. The quick start guide made the setup process a breeze, and I was up and running in no time!

While exploring the world of smart home devices, I’ve noticed some interesting challenges. For instance, I’ve been experimenting with integrating Blink cameras and USB drives. Unfortunately, I discovered that plugging in a formatted exFAT USB drive into my Sync Module 2 causes the cameras to stop detecting motion and recording entirely. It’s almost as if the module refuses to work with USB drives, which is quite puzzling. I’ve tried multiple USB drives, restarted the module, and even re-added the cameras, but the issue persists. It’s frustrating because live views still work, but without motion detection, the system feels incomplete.

On a more positive note, I’ve been diving into the SmartThings platform and its integration with Smart Life. I’ve successfully paired some Wi-Fi switches and even a vacuum robot (Lefant M210) with Alexa. However, I’ve encountered a snag when trying to add the vacuum to SmartThings. The app only seems to recognize the switches and not the vacuum, which is a bit disheartening. I’ve reached out to the community for advice, and I’m hopeful someone might have a workaround.

Despite these hurdles, I remain optimistic about the potential of smart home technology. The Govee Hexa Pro panels have reignited my enthusiasm, and I’m eager to explore more ways to enhance my smart home setup. If anyone has tips on overcoming the USB drive issue or integrating devices like the Lefant vacuum, I’d love to hear your insights!

Happy smart home experimenting! :star2:
