As someone who has been using Govee Home for quite some time, I was thrilled to get into the Govee V5.5.0 Beta program and see some of the new features they’ve been working on. I thought I’d share my experience and what I’ve found so far!
One of the first things I noticed is the new ‘Trends & Clubs’ section on the Discover page. It’s a nice touch that adds a bit of community feel to the app. I also love the updated post layouts—they make browsing and engaging with other users’ setups much more enjoyable.
What I’m most excited about, though, is the improved automation features. I’ve been using Govee to control my RGBIC lights, and the ability to create more complex routines has taken my setup to the next level. For example, I’ve set up my lights to gradually brighten in the morning, creating a calming wake-up experience. It’s little touches like these that make smart home integration truly special.
