Exploring Govee LAN API and Zigbee Range Solutions

Hi everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately and wanted to share some of my experiences and tips. First off, I stumbled upon this amazing solution for controlling Govee DIY scenes using their LAN API. It’s been a game-changer for my automated lighting setups! Check out the GitHub repo here if you haven’t already. It lets you trigger local MQTT commands, which is perfect for creating those seamless home theater effects I’ve been working on.

On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Zigbee range extenders for my Innr smart plugs. Initially, I was having trouble getting one of them to pair in the basement. After some research, I found that placing the Homey hub closer to the plug helped a lot! It’s all about those signal strengths, folks.

I also wanted to mention the College Football sensor tweak I came across. It’s such a cool way to keep track of game stats right from your dashboard. Huge shoutout to the developer for sharing their work. If you’re into sports automation, this is a must-try!

Lastly, I’ve been thinking about the best way to handle motion lighting in my office. I’ve got a ZooZ sensor set up, but I’m still tweaking the settings to make sure it’s reliable. If anyone has tips on optimizing motion sensor performance, I’d love to hear them!

All in all, it’s been a fascinating journey exploring these tools and solutions. I can’t wait to see what other innovations the community comes up with next. Happy automating everyone! :rocket:
