Hello everyone, I’ve recently taken the plunge into upgrading my home lighting setup, and I must say, I’m absolutely thrilled with the Govee H6042 and H6043 LED light panels! These sleek additions have completely transformed the ambiance of my living space, and I just wanted to share my experience and a little dilemma I’m facing.
First off, the installation process was a breeze. The vibrant colors and smooth transitions are simply stunning, and they’ve added a whole new dimension to how I enjoy my evenings. However, as I started planning my next project—a wall art display combining various shapes and sizes of these panels—I hit a bit of a snag.
The issue? Compatibility between different types of panels. While the hexagonal and triangular panels look fantastic together, connecting them without a tangle of cables is proving to be quite the challenge. I’m hoping to create a seamless, visually appealing setup, but the current setup requires multiple cables, which isn’t ideal. It makes the installation look a bit cluttered, and I’m sure it would be even more so with more panels.
I’d love to hear from anyone who’s tackled a similar project. Have you found a way to connect different panel types neatly, or perhaps a workaround to minimize visible cables? I’m also curious if Govee plans to introduce more compatible panels in the future, as expanding the range would open up so many creative possibilities for DIY projects.
For now, I’m experimenting with using longer cables and strategic placement to hide them behind the panels, but I’m not entirely satisfied with the results. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
