However, there are a few areas where I think Govee could improve to enhance the user experience.

I did wish the user manual included a picture of the Light Bars mounted on the table brackets, as that would have saved me a few minutes of trial and error.
Where Govee could improve is in the naming of their products. The inclusion of “TV” in the product title led me to assume it was part of their DreamView line, which it’s not. This could be confusing for new users, as it sets incorrect expectations. I’d love to see Govee rename this product to something like “Smart Sound Light Bars” to better reflect its functionality.
Another area for improvement is the dimmer function. While the concept is there, it was a bit finicky to get right. A more intuitive interface or clearer instructions on how to use this feature would be beneficial. Additionally, the ability to control each Light Bar individually via voice commands would be a fantastic addition, especially for those using them as night lights or in multi-room setups.
Overall, the Govee Light Bars are a fantastic product, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their home entertainment experience. They’re versatile, easy to set up, and offer a range of customization options. My only hope is that Govee continues to listen to user feedback and makes these small tweaks to make an already great product even better.
