I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and I must say, my experience with Govee has been nothing short of amazing! 
I recently installed a couple of their RGB LED strips in my living room, and the transformation has been incredible. The vibrant colors and smooth transitions really bring the space to life! However, I did run into a little hiccup during the installation. I tried connecting multiple strips onto a single 4-pin connector, but noticed some fading towards the end of the strip. I wonder if balancing the load by connecting the other end would help? Any tips from the community would be greatly appreciated! 
Speaking of installations, I’ve also been exploring the integration of different smart devices into my ecosystem. Privacy has always been a top concern for me, which is why I was thrilled to learn about the Ikea Dirigera’s Matter support. It’s supposed to act as a Matter hub and Thread Border Router, which could potentially simplify my setup. But I’m still unsure about its privacy features and whether it requires a cloud account. Has anyone had experience with this device and can shed some light? 
On another note, I’ve been using Pushover for notifications and would love to send messages directly to my Google Home devices. Is there a way to set this up within the rules engine? It would be fantastic to have a seamless integration for announcements and alerts. 
Lastly, I stumbled upon a funny little detail in my smart home setup. My outdoor cameras started charging me to watch events from my SD card! It’s a bit ridiculous, but I’m curious if others have encountered this or found a workaround.
