First off, I’ve been using the Govee Neon Rope lights in my kitchen, and they’ve completely transformed the space. I love how versatile they are—whether I’m setting the mood for a dinner party or just adding a bit of warmth to my workspace. The ability to control them through Google Assistant has been a huge plus, especially on those lazy Sunday mornings when I don’t feel like getting out of bed to flip a switch!
One thing I’ve been curious about is how others are integrating Govee lights into their home automation setups. I’ve heard amazing things about using them with OpenHAB and Home Assistant, but I’m still pretty new to this. Are there any particular tutorials or resources you’d recommend for someone looking to take their setup to the next level?
Another topic I’d love to hear more about is color calibration. I recently picked up a Govee T2 for my TV setup, and while the overall lighting is stunning, I’ve noticed that one section of the lights has a slightly off white balance. I’ve tried calibrating the camera multiple times, but it hasn’t quite solved the issue. Any tips or tricks for getting everything perfectly in sync?
Lastly, I’d love to hear how others are using Govee lights to enhance their daily routines. For example, I’ve been experimenting with setting different color schemes for different times of the day—warmer tones in the evening to help wind down, and cooler tones in the morning to help wake up. Has anyone else found success with similar setups?
