Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with the Govee Night Light Egg I recently picked up from Home Depot. It’s such a cute little device, and I absolutely love how it adds a soft, ambient glow to my room. The built-in speaker is a nice touch too—it plays soothing sounds that help me unwind before bed.
However, there’s one tiny issue I’ve been struggling with: connecting it to my phone’s Bluetooth to play music through the speaker. I’ve tried everything—reinstalling the Govee app, restarting my phone, pushing the reset button multiple times, and even deleting and re-adding the device. The Wi-Fi connection is strong, and the preset sounds work perfectly, but Bluetooth just doesn’t seem to want to cooperate.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Am I missing something obvious? I’d love to hear any suggestions or workarounds you might have. Maybe there’s a setting I haven’t discovered yet or a different approach to pairing the device.
On a lighter note, I’ve also been keeping an eye on the new IKEA Zigbee lighting products that were recently released. It’s exciting to see more brands jumping on the Zigbee bandwagon, offering affordable and compatible smart lighting solutions. I’m planning to stop by IKEA soon to check them out and see how they integrate with my existing setup.
In the meantime, I’m still hopeful about figuring out the Bluetooth issue with my Govee Night Light Egg. It’s such a promising little gadget, and I’m sure there’s a way to get it working seamlessly. Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer!
