Exploring Govee Outdoor Lights and Wyze Camera Firmware Update

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my recent experience with the Govee outdoor lights and some questions I have about the Wyze camera firmware update. First, I recently installed the Govee outdoor lights, and I must say, they’ve transformed my backyard! The setup was straightforward, and the lights look stunning. I’ve been using them for a few weeks now, and they’ve held up well, even in different weather conditions. The app integration is seamless, and I love how I can customize the colors and effects from my phone. It’s been a great addition to my smart home setup. Now, onto the main topic—I’ve been trying to decide whether to update my Wyze camera firmware remotely. I had a bad experience with a previous update that crashed the camera, and I’m still a bit hesitant. I’ve heard that the new firmware addresses some issues, but I’m worried about potential problems if the update doesn’t go smoothly. I’ve heard that having an SD card in the camera can sometimes cause issues during firmware upgrades, and I’m not sure if that’s the case here. I’m also concerned about the rollback process if something goes wrong. I don’t want to end up with a non-functioning camera, especially since I rely on it for monitoring my pets and home security. Does anyone have experience with updating Wyze cameras remotely, especially with an SD card installed? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m leaning towards giving it a try, but I’d love to hear others’ experiences before I proceed. Thanks in advance for your help! :rocket:
