Exploring Govee Outdoor String Lights 2: A Wonderful Addition to My Home

Recently, I’ve been exploring the Govee Outdoor String Lights 2, and I must say, they’ve been a fantastic addition to my home. I purchased the 144ft version to replace my old Govee H7002s, which were Bluetooth-only and were starting to show their age. The new lights are so much brighter and more versatile, and I’ve been using them to decorate my backyard for the upcoming holidays.

One feature I particularly enjoy is how easy it is to control them through the Govee app. I’ve been able to set up custom scenes and schedules, which has made managing the lights a breeze. However, I do have a small suggestion—would it be possible to add an option to use these lights in the phone’s control center? I think it would be super handy for quick adjustments on the go!

Another thing I’ve been thinking about is the ability to organize DIY projects in multiple folders. I love the new folder system for DIYs, but I often find myself wanting to categorize a project in more than one way. For example, I might want to put a holiday decoration project in both the “Holidays” folder and the “Outdoor” folder. This would make it easier to find and manage projects, especially as my collection grows.

Overall, I’m really happy with the Govee Outdoor String Lights 2 and the flexibility they bring to my smart home setup. I’m excited to see what improvements and new features Govee will bring in the future!
