Hello everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting and automation lately, and I’ve got a few experiences and questions to share. Let me start by saying how impressed I am with Govee products. I recently purchased the H6144 LED strips, and they’ve completely transformed my home entertainment setup. The Quiet A scene is absolutely stunning, and I’m curious to know if others have tried similar setups or have recommendations for other scenes that might enhance the experience even further.
One thing I’ve been struggling with is getting the perfect color blending for my TV setup. I have the brightness at 30% and saturation at 20%, but I’m just not seeing the colors blend as smoothly as I’d like. Any tips or settings adjustments that might help with this? I’d love to hear from those who have mastered this aspect of their setups.
On the automation front, I’ve been experimenting with Hubitat to integrate my existing Wi-Fi devices, like my Nest thermostat and cameras, with my new zigbee contact sensor. While I’ve managed to get everything connected, I’m running into issues when trying to create automations that involve both Wi-Fi and zigbee devices. The zigbee sensor doesn’t show up in Google Home, and vice versa. I’m wondering if there’s a workaround or a specific integration method I’m missing that could bridge this gap.
I’d also love to hear from anyone who has successfully integrated multiple smart lighting systems or sensors. What challenges did you face, and how did you overcome them? Any shared wisdom would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you all for being such a supportive and knowledgeable community. I’m really looking forward to learning more and taking my smart home setup to the next level!
