First off, I’ve been using the Govee Lyra and Corner lamp, and both have been fantastic additions to my smart home setup. On the other hand, the Corner lamp offers a longer LED strip, which I appreciate for its coverage, but it lacks a physical remote, which I find a bit inconvenient.
When it comes to managing my printers, I’ve found a clever way to ensure they stay updated without constant supervision. I connected both my laser and inkjet printers to Wyze plugs, which are usually turned off. Using Hubitat, I set up a rule that turns them on once a week for a short period, allowing them to download any necessary updates. This not only keeps them maintained but also saves energy since they’re off when not in use. The rule even turns them off automatically after the update window, which has been a lifesaver!
