I’m thrilled to join this vibrant community and share my experiences and questions regarding my journey into the world of smart home technology. I’ve recently delved into the fascinating realm of smart lighting and automation, and I must say, I’ve been absolutely impressed with the Govee products I’ve come across. Their innovative designs and user-friendly interfaces have truly elevated my home’s ambiance, and I’m eager to explore more of their offerings in the future! 
That being said, I’d like to pivot to a challenge I’ve been facing with my SmartThings setup. I’ve invested in a couple of SmartThings multi-sensors for my external doors, along with motion sensors to automate hallway lighting. However, I’ve encountered a rather frustrating issue where these sensors frequently lose connectivity to my hub, despite being relatively close by. This has led to some inconvenient situations, especially when relying on intrusion alerts. I’ve tried troubleshooting by re-pairing the sensors and relocating the hub, but the problem persists. I’m curious if anyone has encountered similar issues or has any insights or solutions to share. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 
Additionally, I’m on the hunt for some reliable, budget-friendly smart sensors. I’ve heard mixed reviews about various brands, and I’m wondering if the community has any standout recommendations for affordable yet dependable options. Whether it’s for motion detection, door sensing, or something else, I’d love to hear your go-to picks!
