Exploring Govee RGBIC Lights for Home Automation

I recently dove into the world of smart lighting and decided to give the Govee RGBIC H7090 car lights a try for my home setup. While they’re designed for cars, I’ve been experimenting with using them in my home, specifically in a glass cabinet. The results have been fascinating!

The RGBIC lights are incredibly bright and offer a wide range of colors, which makes them perfect for creating vibrant lighting effects. I’ve been using them alongside my existing RGBIC strip lights, and it’s amazing how well they sync up. I even managed to get them working with my other Govee devices using the cigarette lighter adapter, which was a bit of a challenge but totally worth it.

One thing I’ve noticed is how easy it is to control these lights through my smartphone app. The ability to set custom scenes and schedules has really taken my home automation to the next level. I’ve even integrated them with my smart speaker for voice control, which is a huge plus.

However, I’m curious if anyone else has tried using these car lights in a home setting. Do they hold up over time? How about the color consistency? I’d love to hear other experiences and tips for getting the most out of these devices. If you’ve got any advice or tricks, please share them below!

Overall, I’m really impressed with how versatile the Govee RGBIC lights are. They’ve definitely added a fun and customizable touch to my home setup. I’m excited to see how else I can incorporate them into my automation projects. Happy experimenting, everyone!
