Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts! I wanted to share my recent experience with the Govee RGBIC Pro LED strip and also reach out for some advice regarding my Leviton Z-Wave outlet.
First, let me talk about the Govee RGBIC Pro. I recently installed these LED strips in my living room, and I must say, they’ve exceeded my expectations! The 120 LEDs per meter provide a vibrant and even light distribution, which is perfect for creating different ambiance settings. The IP65 rating is a huge plus, especially since I’m planning to use them in areas where they might be exposed to some moisture.
One feature I particularly enjoy is the customizable modes. I’ve experimented with different color combinations and even set up some scenes using my smart home app. However, I’m still curious about the auto mode—does it adjust based on time of day or ambient light? I’d love to hear how others are utilizing this feature.
Now, onto the Leviton Z-Wave outlet. I’ve been having a bit of trouble with it. I installed it a couple of weeks ago, and everything seemed to be working fine. However, I accidentally triggered a factory reset while trying to troubleshoot an unrelated issue. After resetting, I’m unable to get the outlet to work with my hub. I’ve tried excluding and re-adding it multiple times, but it doesn’t seem to recognize the device.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any tips on how to resolve it without having to replace the outlet? I’d really appreciate any advice or workarounds you might have.
Thank you all for your time and help! It’s amazing to be part of such a supportive community. ![]()
