Hello everyone! I’m diving into the world of smart home automation and have been experimenting with Govee products, specifically their RGBIC strips for motor vehicles. While I’ve had great success using these strips for both outdoor and indoor projects, I’ve encountered an interesting challenge that I’d love to discuss with the community.
I recently tried integrating my Govee RGBIC strip into my DreamView setup. However, I noticed that the strip doesn’t appear as an option within the DreamView interface. This has left me wondering: is there a way to manually add it since it’s still a Bluetooth-enabled Govee product? I’ve used this strip to create a GoveX project in my basement theater, and it would be fantastic to have it seamlessly integrated with DreamView for a more cohesive experience.
I understand that not all products might be natively supported, but I’m curious if there’s a workaround or a method to make this integration possible. I’d love to hear if anyone else has successfully integrated non-native Govee devices into their DreamView setup or if there are any tips on how to approach this.
