Exploring Govee Smart Bulbs and MySensor Integration

I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting and automation lately, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! :rocket: I recently picked up a set of Govee smart bulbs, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how they’ve transformed my home. The ability to control them via voice commands or the Govee app is just the cherry on top! However, I’ve noticed something interesting about their power loss recovery feature. While some bulbs revert to their previous state after a power outage, others default to full brightness. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this and if there’s a way to standardize this behavior across all bulbs.

On another note, I’ve been working on integrating MySensor nodes into my Home Assistant setup. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I’m making progress! Every time I update Home Assistant, I lose connection with my MySensor nodes, and I have to restart them to get everything back in sync. It’s a bit of a hassle, but I’m determined to figure out a long-term solution. Has anyone encountered similar issues or found a workaround? I’d love to hear your thoughts! :bulb:

Lastly, I’m experimenting with setting up automations that combine multiple triggers, like motion detection and ambient light levels, to control my hallway lights. It’s been a learning curve, but seeing everything come together is incredibly rewarding. I’m excited to see how I can expand this system in the future. :star2:

If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing these setups, I’d be more than happy to hear them! Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other make our smart homes even smarter! :hugs:
