Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience with Govee smart lighting products. I’ve been using their G40 WW string lights for over a year now, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my outdoor setup. Not only do they provide beautiful, warm lighting, but they’ve also added a festive touch to my holidays!
Earlier this year, I decided to take my Govee setup to the next level by integrating a temperature sensor. I’ve been experimenting with syncing the RGB strip colors to the temperature readings. It’s been a fun project, and I’m excited to share my progress! For instance, when the temperature rises, the lights shift to a warm orange, and when it’s cooler, they switch to a soothing blue. It’s a neat way to visualize the weather without checking my phone!
I’d love to hear from others who’ve tried similar projects or have creative ideas for syncing smart lighting with other sensors. Let’s brainstorm together!
Happy holidays to everyone, and here’s to more exciting smart home projects in the new year! ![]()
