Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting with Govee and it’s been an exciting journey! I recently upgraded my bedroom lights to Govee’s RGBWW bulbs, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the vibrant colors and smooth transitions. The ability to customize the ambiance with just a tap on my phone has completely transformed my space. However, I’ve encountered a minor hiccup that I’m hoping the community can help me with.
I’ve been trying to use voice commands to switch between warm white and cold white modes. Unfortunately, it seems like the default voice commands aren’t leveraging the dedicated diodes for these modes. Instead, it’s defaulting to the RGB settings, which results in a less-than-ideal white light. I’ve reached out to Govee support, but in the meantime, I’d love to hear if anyone else has found a workaround or a clever way to integrate this feature into their smart home setup.
On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with creating relaxing bedtime routines using Govee’s aqua breathe mode. Pairing it with a quiet fan has made my evenings incredibly calming. It’s amazing how such small adjustments can make such a big difference in daily life!
If anyone has tips on optimizing voice commands for specific lighting modes or has any favorite Govee features they’d like to share, I’d love to hear about them. Let’s keep the smart home innovations flowing! ![]()
