Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with Govee’s smallest humidifier and some challenges I faced while expanding my Zigbee network. ![]()

First off, I recently came across Govee’s tiniest humidifier, and honestly, it’s a game-changer for small spaces! It fits perfectly on my desk and keeps the air nice and moist without being too noisy. The app integration is smooth, and I love how I can adjust settings from my phone. If you’re into compact, efficient gadgets, this one’s a must-try! ![]()
Now, onto the Zigbee network. I’ve been expanding my setup with various sensors and devices, and I hit a snag when trying to add more Aqara motion detectors. Despite successful discovery, the devices weren’t sending events. After some digging, I found out that the network might be hitting its node limit. It turns out the Ember Zigbee coordinator has a default address table size, and mine was set to 8. Since I already had 8 nodes, adding more wasn’t possible without adjusting this setting.
I stumbled upon a commit that mentioned configuring the network size, specifically the EZSP_CONFIG_ADDRESS_TABLE_SIZE. This seems promising, but I’m waiting for it to be available in OpenHAB. In the meantime, I’ve been cautious about adding new devices to avoid hitting the limit again. If anyone has tips or workarounds, I’d love to hear them! ![]()
Overall, my Zigbee setup has been reliable, but this hiccup taught me the importance of monitoring network capacity. It’s a small price to pay for the convenience these devices bring to my smart home. ![]()
