I’ve been really impressed with Govee’s range of smart products, from lighting to temperature sensors and even their foray into fitness with the jump rope. It’s exciting to see how they’re enhancing home automation! I’d love to see more products that focus on improving overall wellbeing, like air purifiers or a smart alarm clock that integrates with my phone for better control.
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with integrating multiple smart devices from different brands. It’s been a learning curve, but the satisfaction of creating a seamless home automation system is worth it. For instance, I set up an automation where my PC screen turns off when I leave the room and turn off the lights—thanks to some clever MQTT scripting and a GitHub project I found! It’s been working perfectly and adds a nice touch of convenience.
