Another challenge I’ve faced is updating Home Assistant on my macOS system. I’ve encountered a permission error when trying to install updates, specifically related to writing to the /bin directory. I’m not entirely sure why the program is trying to write there, especially since the hass file is located in /usr/local/bin. I’d appreciate any insights or troubleshooting steps I can take to resolve this.
On a more positive note, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with how easily I’ve been able to integrate various smart devices into my setup. For instance, my Google Home speaker has been a breeze to configure, and I love the convenience of voice commands. Speaking of which, I recently came across some Govee gadgets as Christmas gifts, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my smart home ecosystem. The variety of options and ease of use have really impressed me!
