Hello everyone! I’m really excited to share my recent journey into the world of home automation. I’ve been experimenting with Nuki smart locks and WyzeCam outdoor cameras, and I wanted to talk about my experiences and some questions I have along the way. 
First, I’ve been absolutely impressed with the Nuki Bridge API. I’ve been using it to integrate my smart locks into my home automation system, and it’s been a breeze to set up. The ability to control my locks remotely and receive real-time notifications has given me a whole new level of peace of mind. I’m curious, though—how do others handle the security aspect of using APIs? I’d love to hear about any best practices or tips you might have for keeping everything secure. 
On the other hand, I’ve been having a bit of trouble with my WyzeCam outdoor camera. It’s such a great device for monitoring my backyard, but I’ve noticed an odd issue. Whenever I check the recorded footage, the night vision mode seems to shut off midway through the video. It’s as if the camera loses power or something, but I know it’s still plugged in. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m wondering if it’s a software glitch or if there’s something I can do to fix it. 
Another thing I’ve been exploring is the integration of multiple smart devices from different brands. I’ve heard that Home Assistant is a great platform for this, but I’m still a bit overwhelmed by all the options and configurations. I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully integrated devices like Nuki, WyzeCam, and others into a cohesive system. What tools or techniques have you found most helpful for managing everything smoothly? 
Lastly, I wanted to share a fun project I’ve been working on. I’ve set up a simple automation where my porch lights turn on when motion is detected, and they gradually dim after a few minutes of inactivity. It’s been a great way to save energy while still feeling safe. I’d love to hear about any creative automations others have implemented in their homes!
