Hey everyone, I’m currently researching the integration of Homematic devices in a new home project and came across some interesting points. Many users have mentioned that Homematic doesn’t use KNX wiring, which could be a limitation. However, I’m curious to understand why this isn’t feasible in a new construction setting. Wouldn’t it be possible to use the green EIB cables for light switches and other controls alongside Homematic? Perhaps there’s a workaround or a specific configuration that allows both systems to coexist. I’m also wondering if anyone has successfully implemented a mixed system using both Homematic and KNX, especially in a smart home setup. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
