Hey everyone, I’m diving into the world of smart home automation and I’m really excited about the possibilities with the Homeseer 200 dimmer. I came across this specific driver that @mike.maxwell created, and it’s been a game-changer for my setup. However, I’m trying to figure out how to utilize the double-tap feature on my master bedroom light dimmer. My goal is to set it up so that a double-tap downward changes the mode to ‘sleepytime.’
From what I understand, the driver does have the capability for this functionality, but I’m hitting a snag with the Rule Machine and Button Controller. They don’t seem to have a selectable DoubleTap option, which is a bit frustrating. I’ve tried logging the double-click events on the 200 series dimmer, but it’s not quite working as expected.
I’m curious if anyone else has tackled this or has any tips on how to make this work seamlessly. Maybe there’s a workaround or a different approach I haven’t considered yet. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s successfully implemented double-tap features or has insights into optimizing the Rule Machine for such scenarios.
