Exploring Hubitat for a More Stable Smart Home Setup

I recently made the switch from Home Assistant to Hubitat after experiencing some consistency issues. I’ve always been drawn to local solutions, and Hubitat seemed like the perfect fit for my needs. After setting up my first Z-Wave device, a Monoprice Z-Wave Plus Wall Socket Plug, I was excited to see it work right out of the box. However, I ran into a small hiccup with the polling feature—it only showed the state as ‘off’ even when the plug was on. I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this and if there’s a workaround or specific outlet they’d recommend for better compatibility.

On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with adding some festive lighting to my mancave kitchen. The green strip lights under the bar and behind the fridge have really transformed the space, giving it a cool, vibrant vibe. It’s amazing how a simple lighting setup can elevate the ambiance so much!

If anyone has tips on troubleshooting Z-Wave devices or recommendations for reliable outlets, I’d love to hear your insights. Happy tinkering everyone! :hammer_and_wrench::sparkles:
