Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home integration lately, and I wanted to share my experiences and some questions I’ve come across. I recently set up the Hue emulation for Alexa using Home Assistant, and it’s been a fascinating journey. The setup process went smoothly, and I was able to get several devices like my table lights and garage door working seamlessly with Alexa. However, there’s one issue that’s been puzzling me: the bedroom temperature sensor only appears as a switch in Alexa, which isn’t quite what I was hoping for. I’d love to see it display the actual temperature reading instead. Does anyone have any insights on how to resolve this? I’d also be curious to know if others have managed to integrate motion and door sensors successfully through Hue emulation.
