Hi everyone! I’ve recently gotten into the world of smart lighting and automation, and I’m excited to share some of my experiences and questions with you all. 
First off, I just picked up a set of Philips Hue bulbs and the Hue app. I’ve been really impressed with their ability to create ambiance, but there’s one feature I’m dying to get working—slow turn on to mimic a sunrise. I swear I saw this option when I was setting up the Hue integration in SmartThings, but I can’t seem to find it now. Does anyone know where this feature might be hiding? I’d love to start my mornings feeling like I’m waking up to the sunrise, even on the cloudiest of days! 
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with ESPHome and Nextion displays. I’ve got this display that’s always on, and while it’s great for showing information, it’s a bit too bright at times. I’d love to figure out a way to dim it or even turn it off programmatically from my ESPHome setup. I know Nextion has its own dimming commands, but I’d prefer to control it directly from my ESPHome configuration. Has anyone tackled something like this before? Any tips or tricks would be super appreciated! 
Lastly, I’d love to hear about your experiences with integrating different smart devices. Have you found any particular brands or devices that work exceptionally well together? I’m always on the lookout for new gadgets to add to my setup, and I’d love to hear what’s been working well for you all.
