I’ve been diving into the world of Imperihome 2.0 lately, and it’s been an absolute game-changer for how I organize and control my smart home devices. One feature that has me truly excited is the ability to integrate other apps and websites seamlessly. For instance, I’ve managed to create a front page that links to my Heatmiser app, my Security camera DVR app, and my Sonos system. It’s incredibly satisfying to have everything look so integrated and cohesive!
Another project I’ve been working on is setting up Philips Android TV Ambilights. I came across this custom light component that allows you to control the Ambilights using the JointSpace API. The installation process was a bit tricky at first, but once everything was set up, the results were stunning. The ability to adjust brightness, color, and even apply different effects like ‘Football’ or ‘Relax’ has completely transformed my home theater experience.
