I recently decided to integrate my older IP camera with Vera2, and while the setup worked, I encountered a puzzling issue. I couldn’t access a live feed—only still pictures refreshed every few seconds. This was a bit frustrating, especially since my camera supports a different live feed URL. I manually entered the JPG path into Vera, but it didn’t solve the problem. Both Vera2 and the iVera app on my iPhone only showed still images with a refresh interval of 2 seconds. Lowering the refresh rate to 1 second didn’t help either—it still wasn’t a live feed. I’m curious if others have faced similar challenges and how they resolved them. Has anyone successfully configured Vera2 to display a true live feed from an IP camera? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any workarounds you’ve discovered.
