Hey everyone! I’m new to the Smarthings community and I’m really excited to dive into the world of smart home automation. I recently got the Smarthings hub for the holidays and I’m looking to integrate it with my existing setup. I have 14 LIFX BR30 color bulbs throughout my house, which I absolutely love for their versatility and vibrant colors. However, I’ve noticed that LIFX doesn’t seem to support them natively with Smarthings, and I’m wondering if anyone has had success connecting these bulbs. I’ve tried a few workarounds but haven’t quite nailed it yet.
I’m really curious to see how others have tackled this integration. Have you found any third-party apps or custom solutions that make this possible? I’ve heard great things about Smarthings’ potential, but if I can’t connect with my lightbulbs, it might be a bit challenging to fully embrace the platform. Any tips or recommendations would be incredibly helpful! I’m also open to exploring alternative bulbs if anyone has suggestions for similar quality and performance.
