Hello all, I’ve recently been exploring the integration of a Fortrezz Mimolite sensor with my Ezlo Secure system, and I wanted to share my experience and a question I have.
I’ve been using the Mimolite sensor with my Vera Edge for garage door monitoring, and it worked flawlessly. However, after my Vera Edge stopped working, I upgraded to an Ezlo Secure. While I’m happy with the Ezlo’s performance, I’ve encountered an issue with the Mimolite sensor. It seems that there are very few plugins available for the Ezlo Secure, and unfortunately, the Mimolite isn’t one of them, despite Fortrezz being listed as an Ezlo brand on their homepage.
Currently, I can manually open and close the garage door, but without the Mimolite plugin, I can’t access the sensor states to confirm whether the door is open or closed. This is a bit concerning, as I’d like to have that real-time monitoring for safety and convenience.
I’m wondering if anyone has found a solution or knows of a way to port the Vera Edge plugin over to the Ezlo Secure. It would be fantastic if Fortrezz or Ezlo could provide official support for this integration, as it would add a lot of value to the system.
