Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts!
I wanted to share my recent experience integrating the Mitsubishi Heavy Electric Air-conditioner with the Smart M-air app and my journey with OpenHAB automation. While it’s currently not possible to connect the Mitsubishi WiFi Module WF-RAC directly to Homey Pro, I’m hopeful that with the community’s support, this might change in the future. If anyone has insights or is working on this, I’d love to hear more!
Speaking of automation, I’ve been diving into OpenHAB and wanted to share a tip for anyone looking to monitor their system’s health. I created a simple bash script to check if OpenHAB2 is running and restart it if necessary. However, I noticed some warnings in the log. After some research, I realized it’s a minor issue that doesn’t affect functionality, but I’m still curious if others have encountered this. Any advice would be appreciated!
For those exploring smart home setups, I’ve found that combining different devices and systems can lead to some really cool automations. For instance, using motion sensors and smart lights can create a seamless experience. If you’re looking for inspiration, check out some of the amazing projects shared in the community. They’re a great source of ideas and motivation!
If you’re new to OpenHAB or automation in general, don’t hesitate to ask questions. The community is incredibly supportive, and we’re all here to help each other learn and grow. Let’s keep the conversation going and continue to innovate together! ![]()
