Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into integrating my ventilation system with OpenHAB using Modbus, but I’m hitting a snag. My system supports Modbus RTU over RS-485, and I’ve got a Raspberry Pi with a USB RS485 adapter. However, since my OpenHAB is running on VMware ESXi without USB or Serial access, I’m wondering if there’s a workaround to get this setup working. Any tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated! 
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Wyze cameras, particularly using them offline for surveillance in my car. It’s been a fun project, but I’m curious about how others have managed recording and retrieving clips from an SD card without the bridge. If anyone has a guide or tips, I’d love to hear about it! 
Lastly, I’m thrilled about the recent announcement of Z-Wave becoming open source. It’s exciting to think about the possibilities for third-party silicon and custom developments. I’m eager to see how this will expand the ecosystem and improve compatibility with existing devices.
