Hi everyone, I’m diving into the world of Modbus integration with my UPS system and wanted to share my journey and experiences so far. I recently purchased a Modbus card, SRVSMB001, to read data from my UPS with model number SRV3kri-e. The goal is to monitor and control the UPS remotely, which would be a huge plus for my home automation setup. I’ve inserted the Modbus card into the intelligent slot and connected it to my PC using an RJ45 cable, but I’m a bit stuck on the next steps. I’ve been researching how to read the data from the card and what software or tools I might need. Does anyone have experience with this setup? I’m also wondering if a firmware update is necessary for the Modbus card to function properly. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
