Hello everyone, I’m diving into the world of MQTT brokers and alarm systems in my home automation setup. I recently encountered some challenges while configuring an external MQTT broker alongside my local Home Assistant instance. From what I gather, setting up multiple brokers can be a bit tricky, but I’m excited to figure this out. Does anyone have experience running both an external and local broker seamlessly? I’d love to hear about your setups and any tips you might have!
On another note, I’m exploring the armed_custom_bypass mode for my manual alarm system. I need a way to trigger the alarm immediately if certain motion sensors detect activity while the system is armed_away. However, setting a delay to zero isn’t an option since I still need the delay when entering the home. I’m curious if the custom bypass mode could solve this. Have any of you successfully implemented something similar?
Lastly, I stumbled upon an issue with HabPanel’s voice support after a page refresh. It stops reading strings until I manually test it again in the settings. I’m wondering if there’s a way to ensure voice support remains active by default. Any ideas or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Looking forward to hearing from the community on these topics. Let’s continue to innovate and share our experiences!
