Hi everyone, I recently purchased the Zipato AB02Z_PSE02 Z-Wave alarm, which is advertised as having multi-sound capabilities. I’m really excited about the potential this device offers, especially for integrating it into my smart home setup. However, I’m encountering a bit of a hurdle in utilizing its full features.
After setting it up on my OpenHab platform (version 2.40), I noticed that only two channels are visible: one for the battery percentage and another for the on/off switch of the alarm. While the alarm itself works perfectly when activated, I’m unsure how to access and utilize the multi-sound feature, such as using it as a doorbell.
I’ve gone through the documentation provided by the manufacturer (https://www.cd-jackson.com/index.php/zwave/zwave-device-database/zwave-device-list/devicesummary/907?layout=doc), but I’m still not entirely clear on how to configure it for different sound modes. I was hoping to set it up in a way that allows me to choose from various tones or even customize the sounds for different scenarios.
Has anyone else successfully used the multi-sound feature on this device? Any guidance or tips on how to access and configure these settings would be greatly appreciated. I’m really looking forward to making the most out of this device and integrating it seamlessly into my smart home ecosystem. Thanks in advance for your help!
