Exploring Music Streaming Options with Echo Dots

Hi all! I hope this post finds you well. I’ve been really enjoying my Echo Dots around the house, especially the voice activation feature for specific music tracks. However, I’ve run into a bit of a conundrum with music streaming options. I love the convenience of Amazon Music, as it seems to handle multi-room setups seamlessly without any extra hassle or cost. It works like a charm in my car too, which is a huge plus. However, I must admit, Spotify’s vast library is hard to beat, and it’s a bit frustrating that integrating it into a multi-room setup feels so cumbersome and expensive.

I have a decent collection of local MP3s, so I was wondering if there’s a way to use my Echo devices to play these files directly via voice commands. I’d hate to have to choose between Amazon Music and Spotify, but it’s starting to feel like I might have to. Has anyone found a workaround or a clever solution for this? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

On a lighter note, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my Galaxy light projector for creating the perfect sleep vibes in my bedroom. It’s such a small touch, but it makes a world of difference! I’d love to hear if anyone else has any favorite gadgets or setups for relaxation or ambiance. Let’s keep the conversation flowing! :star2:
