Exploring New Features and Sharing Experiences

Wow, I just came across some exciting updates and I wanted to share my experiences and thoughts with the community! :tada:

First off, I’m thrilled to hear about the new tricks Alexa has learned. It’s amazing how these updates keep enhancing our smart home experience. I’ve been using Alexa for quite some time now, and it’s always great to see what improvements they bring next. Have any of you tried out the latest features? I’d love to hear about your experiences!

Speaking of updates, I’ve been experimenting with the GOVEE food composter I recently acquired. It’s been a fantastic addition to my kitchen, especially with my short-term rental. My guests have been so impressed, and it’s been a breeze to maintain. If anyone is considering getting one, I highly recommend it! :seedling:

Now, onto a bit of a challenge I’ve been facing. I recently tried setting up my MELCloud app for Homey, but unfortunately, only one of my two AC units shows up. Both are the same model and work perfectly on Mitsubishi’s app. I’ve restarted Homey and reinstalled the app, but no luck so far. Has anyone encountered this issue or have any suggestions?

On a lighter note, I’ve been absolutely loving my Govee lights. They’ve transformed my space, and I can’t recommend them enough! :bulb: However, I’m curious if anyone has tips on integrating older wireless alarm systems into their smart home setup. I’ve got one that’s still functional but doesn’t seem to connect with my current system. Any insights would be appreciated!

Lastly, I’ve been trying to figure out how to adjust the icons in the Keep Me Cozy app for my 2GIG thermostat. It currently just shows the temperature with a play button, and I was wondering if there’s a way to customize it. If anyone knows a workaround, please let me know! :mantelpiece_clock:

Overall, it’s been a mix of exciting updates and some puzzling challenges. I’m really looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and tips – it’s communities like this that make the smart home journey so rewarding. :raised_hands:
