I’ve been diving into the world of smart home gadgets lately and wanted to share some of my experiences and questions with the community.
First off, I’ve been looking into getting a new air conditioner and came across the Qventi brand. It uses the Tuya WiFi module, which apparently integrates well with Google Home and Alexa. I’m really curious about how this works with Homey as well. Has anyone had experience with this brand or similar setups? Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Another thing I’ve been exploring is automating my outdoor lights. I’d love for them to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise, but I’m not sure where to start. I’ve heard about using existing wall switches with smart solutions, but it’s a bit overwhelming. If anyone has successfully done this or has advice, I’d love to hear it!
On a different note, I’ve been trying to set up my security cameras to return to a default position after motion stops. I’ve tried saving a position, but it doesn’t seem to work. It’s a bit frustrating because I want them to follow motion without constantly panning. Any insights or tricks would be super helpful!
Lastly, I’ve been curious about motion sensors compatible with Hubitat in the UK. I’ve heard some brands are better than others, but I’m not sure which ones to trust. If anyone has reliable recommendations or can share their experiences, that would be fantastic!
