Hi everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of NFC automation and it’s been a fascinating journey. I’ve always been curious about how to integrate NFC tags into my daily routines without relying on my phone. The idea of placing an NFC reader on my table to control my smart devices is intriguing, but I’m wondering if it’s feasible with the current technology. Has anyone successfully implemented something similar or faced any challenges? I’d love to hear your experiences and insights!
Another topic I’ve been exploring is temperature sensing. I recently upgraded my DCE to version 8.2.0 and noticed some inconsistencies with my PDU models. The temperature and humidity sensors aren’t showing up in the unassociated devices list, which is puzzling. I’ve tried rediscovering them, but the issue persists. If anyone has encountered this before or knows a workaround, I’d be grateful for your advice!
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with battery level sensors for my Z-Wave PIR sensors. It’s amazing how easy it is to track battery life in Home Assistant. I just wish there was a way to automate alerts when the battery is low. If anyone has a clever setup for this, please share! I’m sure it would help others as well.
Lastly, I wanted to share my excitement about Govee’s Light Festival 2024. The kit includes everything from headbands to keychains, and I’m hoping to win one. It would be perfect for adding some festive flair to my smart home setup. I can’t wait to see how it integrates with my existing devices!
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences!
