Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with the recent Nuki iOS app updates and how they’ve enhanced my smart home setup. I’ve been using Nuki for a while now, and the latest updates have been a game-changer!
First off, the support for the new Nuki Smart Lock (4th generation) is fantastic. The integration into my smart home ecosystem has been seamless, and being able to connect it via Matter to Samsung SmartThings has opened up a whole new level of functionality. I was especially impressed with the ability to share invitation codes via AirDrop, which makes it super easy to grant access to visitors without any hassle.
I’ve also been experimenting with the new features introduced in the 2023.11.1 update. The app feels more responsive, and the interface is much cleaner. The bug fixes in the subsequent updates (2023.11.2 and 2023.11.3) have addressed some minor issues I encountered, particularly the crash during WiFi setup. It’s great to see such active development and support from the Nuki team.
One feature I’m particularly excited about is the improved integration with other smart home devices. I’ve set up some simple routines using the lock’s status to trigger other devices, like turning on the lights or adjusting the thermostat when I unlock the door. It’s these little touches that really make a smart home feel like a smart home.
