Hello everyone, I recently purchased the Nuki Opener and have been exploring its integration with my existing smart home setup. My current intercom system is an AIPHONE GT-1D, and while it’s functional, I’ve noticed some limitations when trying to install the Nuki Opener. After some research, I’ve decided to look into replacing it with a universal intercom system that’s more compatible with my smart devices.
First, I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether replacing the current intercom is feasible for someone without advanced technical skills. I’ve heard that polarity can sometimes be an issue, so I’m wondering if I need to pay special attention to the + and - terminals during installation.
Secondly, I’m on the hunt for a reliable intercom brand or model that works seamlessly with the Nuki Opener out of the box. I came across the Urmet 1133-15, but there are some mixed reviews about its compatibility. Are there other brands like Fermax or Colmar that you’d recommend?
On a different note, I’ve also been experimenting with synchronizing two sets of H6127 LED lights to run the same program. I’d appreciate any tips or tricks you might have for achieving this. It would be fantastic to have both sets of lights operate in unison for a cohesive lighting experience.
Thank you all for your insights and experiences. I’m excited to learn more and continue enhancing my smart home setup! ![]()
