Exploring OpenHAB for Heating Control and Govee Light Reviews

Hey everyone! I’m diving into the world of smart home automation and wanted to share my journey so far. I’ve been exploring OpenHAB as a central controller for my heating system, and it’s been quite a learning curve! :star2:

I’m planning to use thermostats connected via Z-Wave to control my heating manifold. The idea is that whenever a thermostat switches, OpenHAB will send a signal to a relay box to adjust the corresponding valve. I’m leaning towards Z-Wave for its flexibility, but I’m completely new to this, so any advice would be amazing!

On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with Govee’s Lyra Floor Lamp. It’s absolutely stunning! :star2: The build quality is top-notch, and it adds such a modern touch to my living space. Even without the music or dreamview features, it’s a fantastic decorative light. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their home’s ambiance. :bulb:

Has anyone else tried integrating Govee products with OpenHAB? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have! :hugs: Let’s keep the conversation flowing and help each other out on this exciting journey! :rocket:
